The BS-655 smoke detector is designed to provide fast detection in case of fire.

It consists of a plastic base mounted on the roof and the main body of the smoke detector that fastens to the plastic base with a simple rotation to the right. The detectors have an indicator light that lights up continuously in case of fire detection, until a cancellation command is given by the panel. The LED indicator also flashes every 4 sec as an indicator of good operation. Detectors can work with conventional fire detection panels, such as BS-632 and BS-636.
