Electrical insulator made of polyester resin and fibreglass, suitable for use as a busbar support in three-phase and three-phase-plus-neutral systems.

The insulator consists of two crossbars with housing grooves, the widths of which can be adjusted using a simple patented system of saddle spacers, allowing for different busbar sections to be accommodated while keeping the spacing between the phases constant. The kit includes threaded rods, washers and galvanised nuts for frame-mounting and to secure the two crossbars.

Its composition ensures high resistance to strong electrodynamic stresses caused by fault currents and excellent performance in contaminated atmospheres over time.
